Such a great day out! Lots to see, lots of interactive bits (so great for kids, and kids at heart ) and lots of really informative pieces too.

Great location and interesting place to visit, long walk from car park to the house but regular shuttle bus provided if you don't want to walk. Well worth a visit. There is a good play trail to tire out the kids too. We also go for a swim on hot sunny days here, but it is a little frowned upon.

This is our nearest soft play, and a good place to let the kids burn off any excess energy, or on a particularly rainy day for a few hours. It is getting a little tired around the edges now though.

A good place to end a walk along the Gloucester canal.

It's in a beautiful setting right alongside the canal.

I quite like getting lost in the local woods surrounding Dursley. Head upwards in any direction, and you'll soon find a path or track up into the woods. Keep an eye out for any rope swings to have a go on.
