Contactless on Buses

Edinburgh buses are really easy to use - just use any contactless card and you'll automatically only pay the price of a day ticket if you take enough journeys. You don't have to tell the driver where you're going as the price is always the same (except going to the airport). G00gle Maps and the Citymapper app can help you know where to catch them.
