It’s not the most beautiful place, but you can have natural juices (Maracuja/Passion Fruit is amazing, they also has detox juices) freshly made and some local food like "coxinha", sandwiches for a really cheap price and is very "carioca".

You cannot visit Rio without take a walk to the famous Calçadão de Copacabana (Orla de Copacabana). You will find a lot of street vendors and cariocas playing volleyball on the beach, running or even walking with their dogs. It's a magical atmosphere! There is also a bike path that connects the main neighborhoods in the south of Rio de Janeiro (Flamengo, Leme, Botafogo, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, etc).
