Best local food, pizzas and Veggie Burgers (my favorite) in town and is just next door!
Good and super aofordable. Rony and his family are open every day except from Wednesdays, from 8 am - 9pm.
Just like having your private cheff... he will scream your name when food is ready...

This is one of the most mythical places in the area... One of the oldest sodas arround, and an every sunday meeting point for many locals.
Food is very good, beers are cold.
Getting there is an adventure we highly recommend.
Wait for the dry season and low tide if u wanna do it off road, through the beach and rivers (a must!) 25min.
or take the jungle road which is pretty rad too.

You take the adventure as far as u feel.
From our house to the river takes a 20 min drive or a one hour aprox. hike.
Very important to go during the low tide!

Sodas can be cheaper than cooking!
Local restaurants are call "soda's".
You can find local breakfast, "Gallo Pinto". Which is an amazing mix of rice & beans, for 3 uds.
Or dishes like "Casado", which is a full meal with rice, beans, platano, salad and your choice of meat or veggies, for 5-6 uds
