Getting around

Local Walks

There are some great walks right from the front door - south towards the Martello Tower or north to Thorpeness taking in the Scallop sculpture along the way are both nice beach walks - low tide is best for beach walking but there are also paths for easier terrain in both ways! Walking south from the house you will also find a path to the marshes - turn right onto Park Road from the High Street - this will lead to the marshes and/or up to the Allotments. Swing back past the tennis courts and you will find your way home down the town steps - about a 30 min walk.
