This popular brunch spot is housed in what was once a 1950s tire service station. Sit down in their outdoor seating area for a meal or enjoy a quick freshly made baked good or coffee from the adjacent coffeeshop and bakery. The baked goods really steal the show here. The salted oatmeal cookies were our favorite!

Tough, technical but beautiful trail. Markers are sometimes hard to follow but they are there and still highly recommended. Allow several extra hours and make sure to go all the way to the lookout just past the towers.

Shopping / Groceries

If the Dollar General at the bottom of the mountain is too far, the General Store is great for small stuff (milk, juice, butter, aspirin, etc) and you don’t have to drive off the mountain. Sometimes can be a little pricy.
