Sightseeing

During peak times, allow at least an hour to board the ferry. The trip across the bay is worth the wait: you'll see freighters, various gulls and terns, and maybe dolphins.

Don't miss

Some of the best bird watching in North America

Bring your binoculars and camera! The area offers many excellent bird watching opportunities, but the convenience of the back deck can't be beat for dozens of species. We've seen herons, egrets, pelicans, cormorants, king fishers, doves, and ducks.
