Entertainment

This movie theatre was rebuilt and restored after a fire gutted it. They saved and preserved the original neon sign. The movies are curated and offer foreign, contemporary, classic and family films. It's very special and deserves looking into. It's a focal part of Sag Harbor which is about 20 minutes from the house.

Plan a day to Southampton. Stop at The Parrish, have lunch at Lunch and then head into Southampton to visit here. If time, just stroll and stop in for a drink at one of many spots or if with kids go to the park at foot of Job's Lane (perpendicular to main street).

Food Scene: East Hampton

Delicious food but expensive. Downstairs is less formal and expensive. Charming and they have outdoor dining as well. Book in advance. Not a place for children.

Book as soon as you arrive. People have standing reservations. It's popular, consistent, innovative and has a brick oven. It's about 5 minutes heading back towards town on left. People eat at bar as well. Have own garden in back. Expensive.

A personal favorite. Can eat at bar, in bar area or in dining room. Must have reservations. Very attentive and consistent food. Great martinis and Negroni's. Make sure to have their Oysters Rockefeller, Tuna Tartare, Heavenly Biscuits for starters. If bringing calm children, go when first open.

Casual restaurant with offering from burgers and fries, vegetarian and complex bar food. No table clothes, simple, can feel comfortable with kids however the bar scene can sometimes sound a bit Rowdy. It's set back a little bit away from the EH Movie Theatre. Across theatre in parking lot is John Papas which is very family oriented, loud and have waiting lines.
