Amazing New Mexican food on a budget. It's counter service and there are only outdoor picnic tables as far as seating goes, but you will not be disappointed in the food. Try the $3 bean burritos.

A 3 minute walk will get you to one of the top zoos in the nation. A state of the art penguin exhibit is slated to open in the Spring of 2019. On Friday evenings throughout the summer, pack yourself a picnic and head over to Zoo Music for live performances or semi-famous artists and fun for the family. You can take anything into the zoo except glass, so have fun!
