Getting around

Jitneys

Jitneys travel along the 2 blocks parallel to the Ocean. They are $2.25 a ride in cash and run 24 hrs. Masks are required on NJ public transit at this time. There is a photo of the routes in my pictures. You can also find information here: https://www.jitneyac.com/atlantic-city-regular-route
Getting around

Boardwalk Tram Cars

Hop aboard Atlantic City's electric tram service. Tram begins at Hard Rock casino and goes as far as Tropicana casino. $4/adult one-way, $8/day adult pass ·
Getting around

Boardwalk Rolling Chairs

The rolling chair was introduced in the 1880s and was the only vehicle permitted on the Boardwalk at the time. It was once a sign of luxury for vacationers to ride in a rolling chair. A ride in a rolling chair on the Boardwalk is a great way to get to a particular destination or to relax and enjoy a scenic tour. Rates are charged by the block or amount of time traveled and do not include tip. These cost roughly a dollar a block, and can often be negotiated.
Getting around

Busses

504, 507, 508 are walkable and will take you into the casino district. You can take the 505 to go the other direction, into Ventnor.
