This is a traditional “New Mexican” menu local restaurant. Yes! to chili - red or green. Options include traditional green chili chicken soup. (Not for the faint of heart) so let your server know how much heat to bring on… or not. The taco salad is a meal unto itself.

You need to drive here, but only 10 minutes by car. If you want to experience a true Mexican kitchen, check this historic restaurant. You can peek through and watch an enormous kitchen with steaming vats of delicious food being prepared. The chicken green chili burrito is the best in the city. Not too spicy. All their menu is enjoyable.

This is by far my favorite restaurant for that special night out. A bit pricey but worth it. This is where to go for choices that you can’t typically find. I enjoy their international wine options. Share/taste everything! You need to drive or Uber here.
