For a fun outing any time of year, visit this local winery, just 30 minutes from the cabin. You'll drive up a windy dirt road and at the very top you'll find the amazing wood lodge and winery. Enjoy wine tastings and local music on the deck while soaking in the scenic views. Dogs are welcome.

Great little lookout and homestyle restaurant 8 minutes from the cabin. If you're looking for a quick bite and some southern food this is a great little stop. Nothing fancy, just good food and great desserts. Be sure to stop down the road at the Veteran's Overlook.

A great day trip only 25-30 minutes from the cabin is Rogersville, the second-oldest town in Tennessee with the state's oldest courthouse, first newspaper, first post office, and oldest continuously operated inn are located in Rogersville. The community was originally settled in 1775 by the grandparents of Davy Crockett.
Stroll historic main street and visit the local antique shops gift shops, local art shops and cafes.
Stop in for a bite at the Amis Mill, a unique 1800's era eatery perched up on a hill overlooking Big Creek Dam and Waterfall. After lunch stroll the many acres of nature trails.
