A fun event for couples or families, the Chaffee Zoo is only 10 minutes away. They have so many animals in curated environments that make you feel like you're in the wild with the animals. There's also many interactive activities and a petting zoo. I highly recommend it for couples or for kids as the atmosphere of the zoo easily becomes a core memory!

Beat the Heat!
Millerton Lake is one of Fresno's most favorite lakes! It's so close by, only 30 minuyes away, and a great spot for families to go in the summer. Rent a jet ski or kayak, cool off in the water, or soak in the sun! Because it's out in the open instead of in the forest, Millerton Lake feels more like a beach!

Bass Lake is of the most refreshing and largest lakes in the area. It's surrounded by forest and there's little shops and restaurants around in case you forget anything. You can have a group picnic, go fishing or boating, look for gems in Amethyst Cove and many other activities. If you love nature, this is the Lake for you.
