Caruso’s is probably one of, if not my number one, favorite Italian spot. It’s definitely the best Italian place on Capitol Hill, but if you want to go either try and snag reservations ahead of time or get there before they open at 5:00 to get in line and try to snag a spot. Their pastas are delicious and reasonably priced, as are their cocktails. Also another spot I like to dine solo at the bar!

Metro is close by and an easy way to get around the city
There are two metro stations close to the apartment--Eastern Market (0.5 miles away) and Potomac Ave (0.4 miles away). Just load money on the Smart Trip cards provided when you get to the station.
