The Other Mountain! This smaller ski area is a favorite amongst locals! Enjoy some more great skiing and snowboarding, and both downhill and cross-country trails!

Hungry Horse Dam and the reservoir is also well worth a visit. It is just 15 miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park and 44 miles from the Canadian border. This dam is one of the largest in the country, and the reservoir is a great place to enjoy some paddle boarding and kayaking.

Transportation

There are many ways to get around: Free S.N.O.W bus - around town and up the mountain in the Winter and Summer. Check out: https://www.bigmtncommercial.org/snow-bus-schedule Taxis Lyft (drivers are limited) Uber (drivers are limited) Rental cars I do have a couple of cars that I rent out on the Turo App as well. Check out my Turo link below: https://turo.com/us/en/drivers/25880155 Please contact me if you are interested in renting one of my cars as well. Rental cars book up fast in the summer so I recommend you BOOK EARLY!

My kids have enjoyed the Whitefish Mountain Resort Kids Center daycare and Ski/Ride School in the Winter. I have had some success with finding babysitters in the area using care.com.
