Traveler advice

Getting around

There is a Trolley that runs through the City of Deadwood

We are sorry to report that the Gateway Info Center Trolley stop has been eliminated from the trolley route for the time being. The closest stop is now the Buffalo Thunder Lodge stop, just around the corner toward downtown Deadwood, about 1200ft. The Trolley schedule states that the trolley should arrive about 38 minutes past the hour but take this with a grain of salt. Delays may be caused by weather, traffic, construction, etc. You can track the exact location of the trolley on the Deadwood Trolley Tracker on cityofdeadwood.com. The cost of the trolley is $2.00 per ride.
