When you are on walk about in Wells, get down to this very busy and delicious vegetarian cafe. It serves the tastiest dishes in a buffet kind of way, where you don't have to wait for your food you just point at the dish that looks the most delicious (which is hard as it's all amazing!) Try the health food store next door too.

Essentials

This is such a great place to go and spend a day just relaxing. The spa welcomes couples, groups and friends who just want to be pampered. The treatments are world class using only natural products and the hot baths and steam rooms are fantastic. I'd highly recommend getting a package which includes a treatment, full use of the facilities and lunch a really good day out whatever the weather.

Glastonbury is such a colour and lively town to visit. The shops will have you busy for hours, as will the mainly vegetarian and vegan restaurants. Check out the Abbey and to walk off the amazing food take a walk to the top of the Tor, views that you will take in are to the north Wells, the Mendips and the Bristol Channel; east to Shepton Mallet and Wiltshire; south to the Polden Hills, west to the Quantocks and Exmoor.

Our smallest city in the UK but it packs a punch when you walk around the Bishop's Palace and Catherdral. The city is very quaint with lots of great shopping and places to stop and have a meal. Markets are held here on Wednesday's and Saturdays.

The biggest and most interesting is the Frome Independent running on the first Sunday of every month from March until December. Lots of independent stall holders offering a great variety of food, crafts and lots lots more.
