This is BY FAR the best breakfast in southwest Colorado! Owned by old hippies, this is a gathering place for hippies, hipsters, ranchers, and cowboys. Located in the old bank building from the late 1800s, make sure to look up! The ceiling tiles are the original hand-hammered copper!

If you are looking for a good margarita or Mexican food this is a great place to go. They have a really cute outdoor patio with a wild-west flavor. Be careful of the margaritas though, they pack a punch!

Another awesome cidery! It has a really lovely ambiance with outdoor fireplaces and friendly staff. It's a local hangout that is welcome to all! Make sure to ask about the cider that is brewed using 100 year old techniques!

DRB, as the locals call it, is a local staple of Montezuma County. They make great pizza, great beer and often feature local musicians. DRB recently installed a new patio which is landscaped with native and/or edible and drought-tolerant plants and is a great place to relax after a hike or mountain bike ride.

With astounding views of McElmo Canyon, and owned by the entertaining John Sutcliffe, be sure to check out Sutcliffe's orchards and wines! Sutcliffe is guarded by a pack friendly dogs and a cat that thinks it's a dog. One of my favorite "treat-yo-self" activities is to hike in Sand Canyon and then go to a tasting at Sutcliffe.

The oldest brewery in Montezuma, Main Street deserves a stop on your brewery tour! The murals on the walls were painted in the early 2000's by a local artists and I still haven't figured out all of them! Main Street is a great American-style bar, it's one of my favorite places to get a beer & a burger. This would also be a good place to bring a family for dinner.
