Good pub and restaurant, they produce their own meat. Some times we have their ram to stay in our fields. My favourite is the "Piggy Platter" its pig done lots of different ways on the same plate. Its close to the Sailors way foot path for a great walk down the river to Aldeburgh.

This is a stony beach with no facilities, not ideal for push chairs. What you get instead is miles of wonderful wildlife and scenery. It's at the entrance to the river Alde and the shingle shifts each year. Loverly walks up and down the coast. Strong currents please be careful. This is our favourite wild beach. Park just before the first line of houses on the left.

Very nice for a walk by the sea and a good teashop. This was once a large town, just one wall of the church remains! There is a legend that you can still hear the church bell at low tide. Unfortunately, some really boring scientist have scanned the area and shown this can not be true! Short walk from car to beach.
