Food Scene

Incredible plant-based breakfast and lunch cafe that we've taken even the most dedicated meat eaters to who want to come back. The owner's Michael and Christian are super lovely and also run their own animal sanctuary.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Get around with a car

Ideally you'll need a car as public transport is minimal (a few bus lines). Uber also runs but expect a wait of up to 10mins in busy times as driver numbers are low. Bikes and electric scooters are a great option along the beach.
What to pack

Beach gear + bug spray

It's beach weather most of the year round so sunscreen, a hat and your beach wear (it's pretty common for locals to not wear shoes into shops near beach fronts). Once the Sun goes down, there's bugs out so you may want to swap the sunscreen for bug spray.
