Sightseeing

Scenic drive and a beautiful overlook to the ocean! Local fruit, bread and lemonade stands are usually posted up along the way. It is a winding and narrow road but all paved and safe. A worthwhile adventure. Worth wearing comfortable shoes as there is a small, amateur level hike to get close to the Blow Hole. It’s a lovely view from the top as well if you prefer to pass on the hike.

Lovely, quaint beach tucked away and not usually too crowded. It’s the same beach that Ritz Carlton uses for its guests.

Great snorkeling bay! An access trail through a canopy of trees will transport you to the jungle before you reach the water. It is very rocky and doesn’t have a lot of sandy spots to sit, so wear your water shoes and come ready with snorkel gear to enjoy beautiful reefs, fish and sea turtles.

Food scene

Delicious burgers, amazing shakes, and an excellent view looking out over DT Fleming Beach. Public and free parking access is at DT Fleming beach and is the closest to the restaurant vs parking at Ritz Carlton where you would have to pay and have a long walk down to the spot.

Amazing Hawaiian Coffee! They have a small hut near the airport in a parking lot with drive-thru. A great first stop once you’ve landed for a caffeine boost and a taste of the island. Recommend the Honey Bee!

Traveler advice

Getting around

808 Moped Rentals

Highly recommend renting mopeds, electric bikes or electric scooters from 808 Rentals. They have a convenient location with easy pick up/drop off and a lovely cafe on the property that serves great coffee, breakfast sandwiches and Hawaiian hot dogs!
Getting around

Car Rental

Renting a car is great if you plan to do a lot of independent island exploring. The resort does provide a complimentary shuttle that will get you to and from the airport, local grocery store and other hot spots so it is not necessary.
Ways to save

Cook & Grill at the Resort

The condo has an excellent, full-sized kitchen as well as many great BBQ areas in strategic locations throughout that include table seating. It’s fun to get burgers or steaks at the local grocery store and grill your own dinner while enjoying the scenic views and relaxing resort vibes. You can also make and pack lunches to take with you on the go and make breakfast at the condo everyday to save!
