Maui Brewing Co. has one of my all-time favorite beers - the Imperial Coconut Porter. This is a special one that isn't sold in mainstream too much and mainly available at the brewery itself.
Most nights at Maui Brewing, you'll find a live band/musician playing music. Sitting out in their awesome outdoor space, sipping on a beer, and listening to some good tunes - life is good!

Probably our favorite foodie spot in all of Maui. The food here is just incredible. Some of our recommendations are the Garlic Szechuan Noodles and the Wagyu Kalbi Short Rib. So many great Libations here as well.

Best Breakfast in Kihei! Hawaii's take on the classic diner - all of the main diner foods (pancakes, french toast, eggs, potatoes, bacon) with some Hawaiian flair added. Get there early as there can be long lines; line does move very quickly though

Fantastic food at this local joint. Highly recommend the Ono and the potatoes are surprisingly delicious (didn't expect that at a fish restaurant but they're fantastic).

Sightseeing
Charley Young Beach is a less than 5 minute walk from either of our Maui Vista units to your feet touching the sand. Phenomenal beach with great snorkeling and terrific sunsets. I very regularly swim with sea turtles around the reef at this beach. I once saw 7 turtles at the same time hanging around the reef!

Just a quick walk across the street from our Kamaole Sands unit! Spend the day relaxing on the beach and catch an epic sunset in the evening!

Riding bikes down Haleakala was one of our favorite activities ever! It's pretty much all downhill so it isn't too strenuous. You are just immersed in fantastic views as you wind down a massive volcano. So cool! Short stop in the middle in a town for lunch or coffee. There are a bunch of services that offer this experience. We highly recommend Maui Bombers - the owner is fantastic and their equipment (bikes, helmets, etc.) are the best we've seen of the competition.

For our Charley Young Beach, look at the South Maui forecast. Anything in green (>5/10) is good conditions for snorkeling and seeing some Sea Turtles.
