7 Falls is in the neighborhood! While you could drive to a shuttle lot 4 miles away, we recommend the 1-mile scenic walk from our place to the 7 Falls entrance instead (just beyond the picnic area)

This zoo is spectacular, consistently rated one of the top in the country. Feed giraffes, watch the baby hippo, pet the Wallabies, or walk through the indoor/outdoor penguin experience. If you like zoos even a little, you’ll really enjoy this one. One of the few zoos where you’ll see an Alaskan bull moose! Plus the views from the hillside are unparalleled.
