A nice little walk from our place (less than a mile - but uphill almost the entire way). I find it's best to do this walk if you're heading from our place to the Castro.

Go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for the "full experience." The views of downtown are fantastic, but the real drawl is the cast of characters selling whatever you need to help you enjoy the day!

Decent gym with all the necessary equipment for weightlifting. They offer reasonably priced days passes. If you're going to do cardio, though, I'd recommend skipping the gym for running in the park!
