Food cart heaven. This place has the most delicious gyros I have ever had in my entire life! Quality ingredients set it apart from the multitude of Greek/Mediterranean/Lebanese/Egyptian food carts that you will find in the downtown area. The owner/cook is a really nice guy and a pleasure to chat with while waiting for your food.

Great activity for a day trip to the coast. We had a great experience here watching how glassblowing is done and witnessing the various pieces created by the artisans. One of the artists even made us a custom piece right on the spot! A great activity do do on a rainy day.

About 20 min from Marquam Hideaway, this is a great place to explore. Natural playgrounds don’t come much bigger than Sauvie Island — at 24,000 acres, it's one of the largest river islands in the country and sits at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers just 10 miles northwest of downtown Portland. And from one end to the other, families can find an entire day’s worth of adventures; it’s a hot spot for fruits and veggies, as well as a paradise for bird-watchers, beach-goers, bicyclists and kayakers.
