Getting Around

If you want to visit downtown SF, we would suggest you to take BART to avoid traffic and parking difficulties, and by this way, you could have the freedom to play around the city. Also, you could take BART to Pier 39. My suggestion is to take BART to Powell Street, take a Cable Car to The Wharf where you can get to Pier 39. To return, simply take a Uber or Lift to Embarcadero BART station. It takes about 4 mins drive from our place to South San Francisco BART station and the cost to take a Lyft and Uber in the City is very reasonable.
