Oaklawn is a pretty popular attraction in town. The Horse Racing season usually goes from Jan. to May and is fun to attend even if you do not bet on horse racing. The casino is open year round, though I am not sure what COVID restrictions are in place.

This is THE bathhouse to visit if you want to go to a bathhouse. It is roughly $30 per person and gives you access to the 6 thermal pools that contain the natural hot spring water. The pools are varying temperatures going from ~94F to ~102F. They also have massage packages along with different other options passed the pools. I would recommend going an hour early to get in line if going over the weekend as they only allow a certain amount of people in, and it is very popular during the weekends. If possible, visit during a weekday.

Brady Mountain Rec Area is a nice swimming area on Lake Ouachita. It is a bit of a drive from our listing, but is one of the nicer public swimming areas. Lake Ouachita itself is very nice with very clean water, but most activities require a boat. You can rent a boat at Brady Mountain, though I do not know rates or details as I have never rented.
