Along with La Piazza this place is the best place in Cannes for pizza and pasta, can't choose one of them as my favorite. Good value for your money. Offers inside and outside dining space.

Great pizza and pasta! Many different options on the menu. I always go for the pasta seafood. Try green or black pasta, always a twist. Along with La Pizza Cresci this is one of the restaurants that gives you the most value for your money in the whole of Cannes (according to me). Offers inside and outside dining space.

Has the best milkshake. Try the Croque monsieur, or just sit down for an espresso or a Leffe pression. Just a nice and relaxed place which both locals and tourists go to.

This market is famous for fresh fruit and vegetables. Really nice to experience the atmosphere of this market. But be aware, the prices are generally HIGH. I would recommend you to buy your fruit at the local supermarket instead.

According to me, one of the best gelaterias in Cannes. It doesn't have that many flavors to choose from (if you're after a wide range of flavours, visit Le Quirly), but simply the ice cream tastes really good! Famous for serving a "Flower ice cream", they creates your ice cream into a flower. A piece of art!

Has many flavors to choose from and offers outdoor seating. But in my opinion, the ice cream in itself tastes better at Amorino. You should try both.

Sightseeing

Love it. It really is a nice relaxing feeling to stroll down La Croisette. This is what Cannes is known for, beaches and expensive shopping s on the opposite side. Make sure to take time to sit down and just enjoy the atmosphere for a while. Make sure you walk down and have a look at the Carlton hotel. This hotel is famous for being the most expensive hotel in Cannes. You will often see luxurious cars outside the main entrance. Nice if you're into that!

Only a kilometer out in the sea from Cannes. Ile Sainte-Marguerite is the largest one and Saint-Honorat the smaller one. Both worth a visit due to clear water. Sainte-Margeurite is known for the Europe's largest eucalyptus forest and the fort prison where the Man with the iron mask was held. Saint-Honorat is known for the monk abbey, Abbey de Lérins where monks lived since year 400. Also gives you a great view of the mainland.

Would really recommend you to spend a day in Nice. Walk up the stairs or take the elevator up to the view point which is located close to the old town (Vielle Ville). Stroll down the streets of the old town and stop by Place Massena. Walk down the famous Promenade des Anglais and watch the beautiful turquoise water. Take a swim, but be careful, the beaches in Nice are covered with stones. But on the upside, this is what gives the waters its intense color.

Famous for being home to the rich and the famous. But is so worth a visit. Go up to the Prince Castle in the old town and watch the scenic view from up there. Stop by the casino and have an espresso at world famous Café de Paris and watch the luxurious sports cars and rich people pass by. Easy to take the train from Cannes train station to Nice and then take the train from Nice to Monaco. The perfect day trip from Cannes.

Take a hike out here and enjoy the surroundings of the rich and.. yeah the rich. This small Cap hosts some of the most expensive real estate in the whole world. Make sure to go all the way up to Place du Suquet to have a full panorama view over Cannes and the port. The old town of Cannes is typically for a French old town. The jewel in the crown is the castle/church on the top of the hill. The old town offers you a few cozy restaurant and its nice to experience one of them at least one night. As this part of town is a bit of a tourist trap (for a reason, it's really cozy here) I don't usually go here myself I can't really recommend you a restaurant here. Take a look at TripAdvisor for reviews.

If you really want to go to Saint Tropez, go just to have been there. But if you do have limited time on the Riviera, I would prefer to go for example by bus, train or car to Monaco or Nice. If you would like to experience one beautiful little village I would definitely recommend Villefranche-sur-Mer.

In winter it's quite dead and really not that much to do here then, but very nice little town during summertime. . The beach and the small marina is really worth a visit if you're coming by car. It's nice to do water sports such as jet skiing, water skiing, hang gliding etc here. And the water is nice clear and the beach itself is clean. BUT be aware, it's VERY hard to get a parking lot during tourist season if you don't arrive early in the morning. So make sure to get here early if you want to go.

Good option if you just want to go skiing over the day from Cannes. Or stay over just for a for a few nights. Also possible to go by bus from Nice. Have been here myself. But the village itself is dated. In fact it's not that cozy at all. But the slopes are nice, loads of blue and red ones. You can see the Mediterranean sea from the highest view point. As with many ski resorts during summertime, Isola too offers good hiking during that time of the year. I have only been here skiing in the wintertime.
