Traveler advice

Getting around

taxi's and public transportation

One can travel around the city by public transportation or taxi. Downtown Halifax isn't too large and most everything can be seen by foot. However, there are steep hills, so one must be in good health to travel up from the waterfront to Citadel Hill.
Traveling with kids

Have Kids

There are plenty of things to do with the kids in the downtown core of Halifax. The discovery Center, museums, candy stores and the Halifax public library.
