The Tahoe Donner area near downtown Truckee is a large area of mountainous terrain great for hiking, with numerous trails at your doorstep. Within Tahoe Donner, there are cafes and restaurants, as well as the Trout Creek Recreation Center with fitness center, gym, multiple hot tubs, sauna, and multiple outdoor pools. Tahoe Donner downhill and cross country skiing is a few minutes away, and we are also close to Sugar Bowl, Soda Springs, Boreal, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley (the latter two in the Olympic Valley). We are a few minutes' drive from downtown Truckee, with its many adorable shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Getting around
Guests can park on the driveway (fits 4 cars) or in the two-car garage (6 cars total; in-law unit has three spots, one in the garage. You will need your own car for getting around.
