Rockland is also on the ocean and boasts the Breakwater pictured here, close to the Samoset Resort which has a small spa, restaurant, lounge, and a golf course. In downtown is the Farnsworth Museum featuring Andrew Wyeth, nestled amongst several artist galleries.

A unique mountain in this area in that you can drive up it should you chose, with a small tower at the top. There is a fee to drive or hike up it, but it is worth it. The fee gets you into all of Camden National Park which is extensive.
