One of Irelands most famous stone circles, also known as 'Druids Altar'. The circle is a megalithic formation that once consisted of 17 stones (13 remain). Stone circles were places of ritual & cermony in the later bronze age (c.1500 BC-600 BC) & were usually associated with human burial.

A whitewashed tower guarding the entrance of the harbour is Baltimore's major landmark. Stunning views, well worth the short walk from the village.

Located in the sheltered harbour of Glengarriff in Bantry Bay, renowned for its Italianite gardens which are laid out in beautiful walks & have some stunning specimen plants which are rare in this climate. To get there tale the Garnish Island Ferry from Glengarriff Pier.

The Mizen Head Signal Station & cafe are well worth a visit! The visitor centre in The Irish Lights Signal Station, the 99 steps and the famous Arched Bridge. The views are stunning......try & visit on a clear day.

One of our favourite day trips! Perched on the edge of 100 metre cliffs on the western headland above the Mizen Head. Stunning views, tiny roads.....not for the faint hearted but so worth it.
