Here shops, banks and small museums etc still close for lunch. Closing at 12.30 or 1 to 3.30 or 4 pm. Check hours before traveling

If you plan to go serious hiking in the mountains, bring good walking boots as many paths are stoney, hats because the sun is strong and suncream.

All restaurants have a closing day so best to check before you drive there by phoning, also in summer tables outside book up fast. I have a list in the housebook of restaurants but you are sure to discover some that we haven't tried.
