Walking

Cardinham Woods is a popular spot for locals and tourists to go and enjoy woodland walks. There is a cycle trail called the 'Bodmin Beast' which is graded blue with some optional red sections. There is a small cafe which does good coffee and amazing cakes.

Rough Tor is the second highest tor in Cornwall and the views from the top are well worth the hike! A great place to explore for the avid walkers. The highest tor in Cornwall is called 'Brown Willy' and isn't far from Rough Tor.

Recently completely renovated, the Bodmin Jail attraction is not to be missed! The tour delves back in time to show what life in the prison would have been like for prisoners in the 1800s. The tour takes between 30-40minutes and there is a restaurant to grab a spot of lunch or dinner after!
