Arts & Culture

Not only is the home itself interesting to tour, the grounds are lovely. There is a restaurant and gift shop (of course), but you can just wander the grounds and enjoy the view of the Potomac River.

Getting Around

It's about 1 1/2 miles away with sidewalks all the way for walking when the weather is nice. You can take the metro to the King Street Station and pick up the free Old Town Trolley which goes down King Street to the waterfront. There are several stops along the way where you can get off for dining and shopping.
