We love vegetarian food. This is the place to go. About a 10 mile drive, but worth it. Great soup and they make their own bread. They have a wonderful chai tea and cappuccino. They also serve sandwiches and salads. Call first. They are still respecting the Covid rules.

City/town information

We love living here in Roseburg, Oregon. Our downtown area is full of local merchants and businesses ready to serve you. We have a beautiful river running by most of the town. Our courthouse it worth driving up there to see. The 1900 historical Elm tree still stands and graces the huge lawn. You can't miss it. The Chamber of Commerce is also located near downtown. Be sure to call to see if they are open. I believe they have a kiosk for your help.

Over two hours from Roseburg off Hwy. 138. Takes about two hours to drive the rim as well. It’s probably an all day trip, but worth it.

Traveler advice

Don't miss

Crater and Diamond lakes are not far away

Travel up hwy. 138 to see some of the most beautiful country in the world (after the fires last summer). Be sure to stop by Steamboat inn for refreshments if needed. They somehow survived the fire. We are so proud of our Diamond and Crater Lakes. Just follow the signs. You can pull off for gas at Diamond Lake if needed and take a walk around..........worth it!

Local Wineries

The Umpqua Valley is full of award winning wineries just to name a few: Melrose, Cooper Ridge, Reustles, Callahans, Henry's Estate, and many many more. Amazing views! Great wines!
