There's a long list of reasons to visit this amazing spot, so I will start with the easiest - it's super close, just 10 minutes away. But after that, amazing food, amazing drink, amazing atmosphere. Every season. Always inspiring. Always changing.

We are so lucky to have so many delicious places close by. This is a beautiful 10 minute drive drown Whitfield. Very close to Ravenswood Farm. Delicious food with a great atmosphere. Bring a blanket and eat on their lawn, or grab a table. Kids will have plenty of room to run around and have fun.

This farm has been run by the same family since 1680! You can always grab a quick bite to eat or groceries, including locally grown fruits and vegitables. But check their schedule because depending on when you visit - you can pick your own fruits!

If you are looking for a fun distraction with the kids this is a nice place to go. If you can get them off of the giant jumping pillow, there are a ton of activities to pass an afternoon. And the view doesn't disappoint!

Kingston has several neighborhoods worth checking out. This particular one is where NY's government first started! It is jam packed with really good restaurants, shops, a great weekend market during warmer weather, history for days and very walkable streets.

Kingston's waterfront district is equally as good as the Stockade. Plenty of good food, drink, and shopping to be had. Plus an amazing Hudson River view...and why not go boating while you are here?
