The best dinner in Tucson, featuring fresh grilled food and great cocktails (try the Cactus Cooler). John Martinez, the owner/chef, trained under chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and is our friend from high school. Tell him Matt & Andrea sent you!

Tucson’s newest and coolest patio cafe. Coffee and homemade pastries in the morning, tapas and small bites for sharing at lunch and dinner. Located on 4th Avenue, one of the best areas in town for shopping and urban exploring.

Traveler advice

What to pack

Hey! It's hot here!

The desert sun is no joke. Avoid being the tourist on the 6pm news by remembering to pack sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water if you plan on a hike. The earlier the better is the year-long rule of thumb.
