This is the French mountain you can see from the front of the apartment. You can get a cable car to the top which is 1100 metres. On a clear day you can see all over the city and lake of Geneva. To get there take tram 14 to "Bel Air", then find stop "Bel-Air Cité" on Rue Des Confédération. Take the Tram 12 to stop "Rive" and then Bus 8 in the direction of "Veyrier Douane". Get off at the last stop and walk towards the mountain following the signs to the cable car. There are walking paths on top of the mountain too.
