It is possible to walk to Kingswear from the chalets via Maypool and Long Wood, so called because it is incredibly long! This would be a walk of around 7 miles approx. Once at Kingswear you can hop on a ferry to Dartmouth or walk back! Or, take the Steam Train back from Kingswear to Churston (last train at around 17.15 and they don't run in the winter).

Mill Lane is right at the bottom of the park - from here you can walk to Mill Creek and look at the Dart (I love this, especially at sunset), or take a circular village walk via Dartside Quay. You can also go across fields to further along Greenway Road.
