Mary's is a "higher end" restaurant using fresh local ingredients. It can be both romantic or great for a group. You can dine in the cozy dining rooms, or hang out with the locals in the bar (where the fun people are:) The owners and staff are very friendly, and the cocktails are excellent. Shopping

Bristol is our local "go to" town, just south of Starksboro. It's an iconic Vermont village, complete with Village Green and gazebo. Many locally owned shops and galleries line the main street, and there are restaurants and cafes to enjoy. It also has a Rite Aid pharmacy and and Shaw's supermarket where you can re-supply, and of course, a good wine and beverage shop.
