Lake Carl Blackwell is a 3,350 acre lake located about 8 miles west of Stillwater. There you can fish, swim, play sand volleyball, hike or just enjoy the scenery!

This is one of my favorite places to go for dinner. It's served shabu-shabu style with simmering flavored broths in the middle of your table. You swish the meats and veggies in the broth and they cook in seconds. Fun experience and great food!

This is a great place to eat. They have a small menu that usually changes monthly and features local ingredients as much as possible. Just open for lunch hours and Sunday Brunch. They have awesome desserts that you can stop by and pick up to go if you have a sweet tooth and aren't looking for a full meal. Especially convenient for travelers, they also have ready to bake meals that you could purchase and take back to the house and heat in the oven when you are ready for dinner. The restaurant is small with not a ton of seating but the food is great.

Hideaway Pizza is THE spot for great pizza. They offer dine-in, takeout and delivery. Their menu also has pastas, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. My favorite pizza there is Big Country, and Pizza of the Gods is great as well.

While they do not directly serve food, they usually have a food truck there during peak dinner hours. If you plan to order food there, I would call first to make sure a food truck is there.
