Full day trip. Start really early in the morning and come back late a night, 5 hours away. Among the amazing things to do in Mexico is swimming with whale sharks in Baja California. Although the harsh desert coast near Bahia de Los Angeles might seem like an unlikely place to find these tropical creatures, it attracts hundreds of them each year. With only four places in the world known to attract whale sharks each year, its a must do while visiting Baja California’s Bahia Los Angeles. Because of its remote location, and one of the longest peninsulas in the world stretching 1,300km south from the Californian border, it makes it one of the best places to get up close and personal with the gentle giants. Best time Mid August to Mid November
