Things to do

Tons of fun for everyone! The slides and attractions are amazing and there's a lot of them. Just make sure to go during the weekend to avoid those long lines for the slides and rides. But, if you want to pay less on the entrance fee, go on the weekdays. The food is nice and for the price, definitely worth it.

This place is a perfect getaway from the city. The cold wind and the pine trees relaxes your muscles and soul. For the adventurous and thrill seeking people, you may try their adrenaline pumping rides. I specially liked the DROP ZONE, wherein you'll be hanged on air 100+ ft. above the ground, be dropped almost to the ground and swing back and forth. Basically it's like a giant swing. Also try their zip lines, they have the longest zip line and the phyton line. There are so many things and adventures you can do here.

Off the coast of Camiguin, you can spot White Island. This small white sandbar sits 1.4 kilometers from the shore surrounded by reef. As the tides shift, the sandbar takes different shapes but always leave a nice runway of sand where you can play. You can hire a boat to take you out there. Spend a couple hours swimming in the warm shallow water, lying on the soft sand, or bring a volley ball to play some games. There is no area for shade or buying drinks, so make sure to bring whatever you need with you. HOW TO GET TO CAMIGUIN FROM CDO. Via Balingoan Cheapest option but longer way. From CDO Airport, take a taxi or van to Agora Bus Terminal. Fare should be around P200 per person. From your hotel within the city center, you can take a taxi or motorela to Agora Bus Terminal. Take a Butuan-bound bus (P143) or van from Agora Bus Terminal to Balingoan Port. Travel time is about 2-3 hours. If you're taking the bus, get off at Balingoan Bus Terminal and rent a tricycle or motorela (P8) to the Balingoan Ferry Port. Alternatively, you can just walk towards the port. For vans, you can ask to be dropped off at Balingoan Port. RORO and ferry boats (P170) leave hourly from Balingoan Port to Benoni Port (Camiguin). Early trip is 5:00 AM (but ours was 5:20 AM). Travel time takes about 1 hour. Via Fastcraft in Macabalan Port This is the expensive option but fastest way. From CDO Airport, take a taxi or van to Macabalan Port in Cagayan de Oro City. Food scene

One of the best restaurants in the region. Frequently visited by locals and visitors for their delectable seafood menu. Good place to enjoy good food and the sea breeze. Although they have branches in some malls in the city, the ambiance is what distinguishes Panagatan in Opol from the rest of its stores.

Boy Zugba boasts an array of grilled food items, as well as meals that we normally see in karenderias or eat at home, which are wittingly dubbed with Bisaya names such as Pisbol sa Corrales – true to its form as a proudly Kusina Bisaya food joint. The restaurant has the feel of a karenderia, but with a modern twist, showing its personality as a down-to-earth food destination. It is the food destination of choice for students, young professionals and families wanting to dine out, but wanting to feel as if they never left home, and those looking for a place where they can be themselves and enjoy the company of friends and family members. One of their branch is at SM UPTOWN MALL Cagayan de oro city.
