Food scene

One of my favorite restaurant/bars! Right in Hyannis harbor, guests can drive their boats right up to the restaurant. There are 2 sides - a bar side with table service and a family-friendly side with counter service. I recommend the Cape Slider combo, clam strip roll, or lobster roll. And of course a mudslide!

One of the best seafood restaurants in the area - a must go. I recommend a salad with lobster on top - it’s a huge amount of lobster!

Really good ice cream - my grandpa always used to trick us on Sunday’s saying we were going to Sunday school (like church) and year after year we’d never remember where he was actually taking us

Beach

5 min drive for house. You have to pay for parking, but there’s a snack shack and a bathroom (not porta potty) which is important. Can Uber there if you don’t want to pay for parking

5 min walk down the street + free parking. If the parking lot is full, it’s easy to drive down to drop stuff off, bring the car back to the house, and walk back down. You’ll see the ferries coming in and out of the bay. No lifeguard on duty

Traveler advice

Customs and culture

Seasonality

Call restaurants before you go in the winter to make sure they’re open - many places close from mid October to mid April, but google doesn’t reflect that
Getting around

Need a car/Uber/bike

You’ll need a car or Uber to get around (or bike) with the exception of the beach at the end of the street which is walkable
