Getting around
Drink spring water rather than tap in New Orleans.
Safety in numbers when out at night. New Orleans has a lot to offer other than the French Quarter. Check out the Garden District by taking an Uber, walk from our home to the Bayou and take it to City Park. If visiting for Jazz Fest, we are a super close walk away to the Fairgrounds. The Irish Channel or Frenchman Street are great funky areas to hit bars and restaurants.
What to pack
Think layers of what to pack
From the AC pumping in the summer to the night temp varying in the winter, you can find yourself within a range of temperatures from day to day.
Traveling with kids
Let us know
We have toddler toys and a crib if y'all need one setup.
Ways to save
Snacks while site seeing
Bring snacks - nuts & raisins, etc. while walking around and maybe save $ for that night time for a nice dinner out. Fill your water bottle at our spring water cooler and pack a light backpack.
