Kind of a long walk from our place, but this is my favorite pizza in the NYC. My suggestion is show up before 6pm when they open to get your name on the list. Otherwise you'll wait for an hour.

Really cute, old-fashioned soda fountain shop. Great, classic shakes and other desserts. Go here after pizza at Lucali.

This place has been in Park Slope for a long time and is still really popular. Quaint and cozy, casual but not necessarily cheap, really tasty Italian place. A neighborhood favorite.

There's a heated debate going on in NYC for who has the best doughnuts, "Dough" or "Doughnut Plant". My wife picks Dough, I prefer Doughnut Plant, but both are amazing and Doughnut Plant is in the neighborhood! You must try the Creme Brulee!

The best sushi we've had in Brooklyn. Simple design with nothing too fancy as far as decor or the menu, but the sushi is excellent. Great place to go before or after a stroll through Prospect Park.

This is our new favorite date night dinner spot in the neighborhood. Ridiculously tasty modern Vietnamese with a really inviting interior and a super cute outdoor patio. It's pricey casual food, which is sometimes annoying, but the quality of the menu makes it worth it!

Entertainment & Activities

Home of the Brooklyn Nets and a ton of high profile events and concerts. State of the art venue and we love how the architect fit the giant building into the neighborhood so nicely.
