What to pack
Bring comfortable clothes!
Bring comfortable shoes and clothes, for both hot and chilly days, bug spray, sun block for everyday use. Avoid drinking tap water, it is one of the most clean waters in Central America but travelers are still not used to the different things that may still be in the water. It’s not harmful for you health but may cause problems depending on how sensitive your stomach is.
Getting around
Avoid walking alone after dark.
Costa Rica is a very quiet place, none the less it’s best to avoid walking alone late at night or with valuable items on sight at anytime.
