Delicious food and a good house red. Not sure what else you can ask for in authentic Italian.

This place is SWANKY. It is expensive as all get out and has a dress code, so be prepared for that. But IT. IS. DELICIOUS. Like holy moly delicious.

Great beer selection and delicious food. No liquor, but they have some radler combinations that pleased even me (I prefer mix drinks to beer). The food isn't typical bar food, either. The options are minimal but executed deliciously.

They have a really good beer selection and -okay- food. For me the real draw is that it's in the strand and has second floor outdoor seating and a full bar. They also have a coffee shop on the first floor.

This is also a super local place and ABSOLUTELY delicious. It's a really small place owned by a lovely couple.

Our go-to suggestion for good, moderately priced seafood. Also great if you're looking for oysters!

Nature

You almost always see dolphins on the ferry ride and once on the Peninsula you can visit the Bolivar Flats and bird sanctuary!

This is a shorebird sanctuary and it is lovely to walk around. When the tide is in you can walk in shallow waters and see crabs and gastropods, and when the tide is out you can enjoy the birds taking advantage.

The Seawall is technically just a road, but it is pedestrian friendly on the beach side and there are tons of shops, restaurants, and beach views to be had along the seawall. Additionally, there are bike, paddle board, and surfboard rentals along the wall!

Drink spots

They have a full menu of food, but I honestly go for the views and the drinks. It is literally on a pier so you can look out over the water and relax with a Pain Annihilator (a delicious drink).

Delicious, creative drinks with a good beer selection, too. Indoor and outdoor seating, with Gypsy Joynt next door in case you get hungry.

Really laid back local brewery. They have art on display, bean bags, shuffle board, board games, and a garage door that opens for nice weather. Dog friendly!

Sightseeing

The Strand is the general tourist area. There are a lot of kitsch shops and food along here. Whenever there are events in the area they close these streets off to traffic and make it pedestrian only, it can be a lot of fun!

If you're into architecture you should probably check this out. Otherwise it's just a simple little museum.

This place has pretty delicious coffee and is locally run. They don't make any fancy drinks, though, it's more of a place to buy ground coffee for your mornings. But they do typically have free samples!!
