Subways and Buses
L train is the closest subway nearby. Make sure you check subway maintenance schedule before you head to the L on isthelrunning.com You can also walk to Astor place or Union Square to take the subways. Note: Astor place only has the local train 6 and R, union square has more express trains like (4&5) and (N,Q).
Ways to save
Broadway shows
If you know which show you want to see, do yourself a favor and book your tickets in advance on ticketing Apps like Today Tix or Ticketmaster. If you do not know what you want to watch, you can go to the ticket office booth in time square to get the discounted (a lot, like 50% off) tickets for the shows on the day of.
